TabBoy is an open-source, local-first browser extension. We do not operate a commercial call center or offer guaranteed response times, but we provide clear channels depending on your need.
Bug reports & feature requests
Section titled “ Bug reports & feature requests”We separate bug tracking from community feature requests to prioritize fixes quickly:
- Bug reports: Open an issue using our Bug report template. Please include your browser version, OS, and reproduction steps.
- Feature ideas & voting: Propose enhancements or vote on what to build next on our public TabBoy Feedback Board (no GitHub account required).
- Rule preset contributions: Submit reusable rule templates via our Rule preset template.
- Diagnostics: Before reporting a bug, you can generate a private diagnostic summary directly from the TabBoy dashboard. TabBoy diagnostics never contain URLs, titles, or browsing history.
Usage questions & documentation

- Browse the Help Center for guides on collections, rules, backups, and data storage.
- Check Feedback & Community for ways to participate in discussions and share feedback.
- Read Contributing if you would like to submit documentation improvements or code fixes.
Security vulnerabilities
Section titled “ Security vulnerabilities”If you discover a security issue or vulnerability:
- Do not post vulnerabilities publicly on GitHub issues.
- Report vulnerabilities privately through our Security Policy or via GitHub Security Advisories.
- Security disclosures are reviewed privately and patched before public notice.
General inquiries
Section titled “ General inquiries”For project inquiries, partnerships, or press inquiries regarding the FlowCrate ecosystem, open a topic on GitHub Issues tagged with type: question or reach out via FlowCrate’s official project channels.
